Return from Shropshire
Having been nagging the hubby to blog (albeit not publicly visible), I'm going to try and give it s go myself. For one reason, this makes it easier to not feel like I'm just nagging then! This may sound a strange concept, but actually it's a good way to ensure he is charting his health, so not quite so odd ( hopefully! )
We've just come back from holiday near Ludlow. We had a nice rest and made it to Croft castle (not Corfe as I kept thinking! ). We were hoping to make quite a few National Trust places but exhaustion and health meant that wasn't to be. We got to spend some lovely relaxation time with a few good friends, which all of us needed! A few glasses of wine through the week, some lovely food, including cream tea (earl grey for me) in the Ludlow Castle tea rooms. A bit of an entertaining my godson (guideson but that looks odd as a word) thrown in for good measure. He was teething with his first teeth so his parents were grateful for the rest too! ....We only figured out that the teething was the reason part way through the week.
A lovely week. Now we're back though and I have managed to acquire a stinking cold! Lemsip fuelled days with the hope of a quick recovery! I'm reading at a wedding on Saturday and being made an official guide-parent on Sunday! All fingers and toes crossed for a reasonable level of health to return by then!!
